According to the latest scientific research the age of Kurash is at least three and a half thousand years. Kurash is one of the oldest martial arts the people had ever practiced. Kurash is an Uzbek word. It means – «reaching the goal with the just or fair way». Since its birth till recent times Kurash was used as a martial art and the public physical entertainment during major holidays, feasts and wedding parties. Kurash is mentioned in many historical sources. Sports Kurash is already played in Asian Games 2018 Jakarta Indonesia. The team India Won 2 Medals in Kurash event that's included first time in the history of Asian Games.
